Twitter and Python
In the very first lesson, I learned how to intake data from the Streaming Twitter API and analyze the text. I applied my newly acquired skills to uncovered that while most tweets about men, women, girls, and boys have strong connotations, only tweets about men are, on average, somewhat negative in nature. As reference, tweets about red and blue typically have no connotation. If you would like the power to analyze popular keywords in twitter, I encourage you to work through the first programming assignment in Introduction to Data Science. If you have any questions, I'm happy to help.
